Burrrrr! It is just freezing outside. And there seems to not be a whole lot of light at the end of the tunnel here. Looks like another week of this 0-20degree weather. I thank God for our many blessings! Like HEAT!!!

Here's the kids sledding down Sugar Valley dam. Yes, that is Garrett rolling down it,,, on purpose! Gabbie had the sled and he improvised! Gabbie went with coaxing from brother. They had a blast and didn't stop until their cheeks were rosie! Be watching how you can take these photos and make a page layout! Winter pics are so much fun!

Christmas is here! Christ-Mary-And-Son! I am getting the scrapbooking table back out and getting ready to have a ball with the kids. They love looking at themselves when they were babies. Garrett turned 7 last week, Jeff and I can't hardly believe it! Gabbie is having fun with crafts, mostly paints. And Janessa has "found her voice" it is way to funny! Garrett totes her around like his very own, changes diapers, &plays with her,,,that is amazing to me.

All right you scrap'n friends of mine.... Get ready for a crop till you drop night in January. We are going to be putting a year together in a night!!! I am so excited! Because I haven't started a book for Janessa yet and I hope to gt hers up to date then.

Spring is here!

Hello everyone! I have been putting my business on the back burner lately! So sorry for that. Alot has been going on. My main focus has been that I am now 24 weeks pregnant today! Yeah.... It had been almost 6 years and no baby so Jeff and I did a round of fertility medication and here we are now! We are both so excited, and so are the kids, of course Gabbie wants a girl and Garrett wants a full grown 6 year old boy to play with! He cracks me up!

We are going to start monthly scrapdays again, the second Saturday of the month at 9:00am until the last person leaves! The first one is March 14th. The first Saturday is FREE!!! No charge, lunch and drinks are on me. After that just $5 each Saturday. We are going to be doing a page together for the season of that month and then you can crop to your hearts content!

Organizing...

Hello everyone! It has been an interesting past few months! There have been changes in my job, school started for our kiddos,(my baby started kindergarden) and my scrap booking room is under construction! I am hip wader deep with organization 101!!! My scrap room looked like a tornado went through it! Organizing can be like driving through a bad construction zone! But the end result is ooh so worth it!!!

For the rest of the school year, the first Friday of the month is going to be crop-till-ya-drop nights. These will be held at the Federated Church in Mound City, KS unless other wise told different. The evening will start at 6:30 pm and go until the last owl leaves! The cost is $10, this is for the use of my supplies, pizza, & drinks. The third Saturday of the month will be at my house. I am so excited to show you new ideas from Close to My Heart!

Thank you everyone for being patient the past couple of months! I appreciate every one's support in my scrap booking business!

Advisory panel

The advisory panel was very informational! We met with HP advertising & Walgreen's managers and learned how they are partnering together. The advisory panel was a group of wonderful women from the Kansas City area.. They were all business owners and successful women! See them on my link friends! Check them out! Amy and I even won in drawings! I got a HP photo smart digital camera and Amy won the HP photo printer! There was definitely lots of information to be learned there... Ladies if you want something go for it! Don't let the dream squashers take your dreams from you... Make a plan and follow it! I started with a blog and then got business cards. After that started making contacts through Amy Biggerstaff Photography. Amy has allowed me to place business cards in her office and we have done projects together... Sometimes you won't make money at what you try but it gets your name out there.. Statistics show that you have to be shown to someone 8-10 times before they will remember your business.

I am getting several emails on an almost daily basis about the article that was in Modern Mom. They all are from women with many questions... All of which are about the same... So be looking in the next few weeks for a way that I can answer your questions. Now, please know that I can't give all my secrets away:), but I will be providing a way for you to get your questions answered! None of the women have been geographically close to me, there have been women from Ohio, Nebraska, Texas, and Colorado to name a few. My business doesn't have boundaries, I have clients from Connecticut to Ohio and on west. That is an awesome feeling!!!!

Graduation!!!

Graduation is right around the corner! Whether your college, high school, junior high, or as in our case pre-school student graduating...... it will be so awesome to see their scrapbook at the party. I am ready to take anyone who needs their grad's scrapbook updated or made right from the start. As long as it is in 2weeks before their graduation date. A present like this is something they will treasure for years to come.

Mark your calendars!!!! I am having a "crop til ya drop" on Saturday, April 5th at the Federated Church in Mound City. They have several tables to spread out and have your own space! I am charging a $10 fee. That will cover the use of all my supplies, lunch, drinks, and snacks. We are starting at 8:30am!!! So, start finding telling the hunny now that the day is marked and they have the kids! I just became a consultant for an awesome company called Close to My Heart. I absolutely LOVE their stuff! I will try to have some of their products for purchase on that Saturday. There will be drawings for fun items, bring a friend and enter twice!!! Little book

I just love this little book. The accordion style lets you scrap on both sides. The book is from Seven Gypsies and comes with a card stock purse you decorate yourself. You can add acrylic pain to the edges for a fun look. They make a great gift for any family member. The added bonus is they are not very big so you can just take them in your purse to show all your friends! Even on your desk! I put a razor phone by it so you can see about how big they are. Enjoy!

The month of LOVE! How much fun, flowers and chocolates! They are a girls best friends! (mostly the chocolate!) The kids are having so much fun making Valentine's for their classmates. Finishing up boxes for their classes. Gabbie in the 3rd grade and Garrett in preschool, they keep us busy! Here's some pics of them and their jazz! More pages to come in the next week. I am making Gabbie a pink 5x7 album. Just for her, of us. She is so funny, when I am scrapbooking, she comes in, sits on the floor, and does her own scrapbooking. She is growing up way to fast! This almost tweeny thing is, oh my goodness, scarry! Jeff took a pic of us the other day. We were taking a photo for something that may be in the works, and I must say I am very excited if it all falls into place!

I have been not on the ball lately and I apologize. There is much to be said about technology, it can make you or break you at times. I hope that my new digital Samsung will help me out in this area, and forgive me I am still learning the digital camera world. I am still a 35mm film girl though! hehe! Sophronia has been so patient with me in getting pages on the blog. I have several more pages done but wanted to get a few up now before I finish Tain's first album tonight. This is a creative twist on what you can do with sonogram pictures that you really want to keep but don't quite know what to do with. And I love the "bun in the oven"! I will put 5-7 more pages on line before I'm done with in the next week. Tain, you sweet sounding boy, you have a beautiful red scrapbook! I so hope that you enjoy it! I had a chance to hear Tain in the background tell his mom that he wanted a "red" book. Also, there are some of my own pages for viewing. My silly kids on Halloween, Gabbie wanted to be scary, which a complete change from the fairy theme for the past several years. Garrett, what can I say Spidey is everywhere in our house! Enjoy!

I have a new client from Connecticut. She has a beautiful family and I have the privilege of scrapbooking her son's baby album. Monday afternoon there will be new pages of her album up on the blog. I am so excited! There is a lot to come in the next few weeks. Every month this year is going to have a theme. Just to give you a glimpse, January is relationship month. Christmas= Christ+Mary+and+Son, My Aunt Michele taught me how to spell Christmas by remembering the above. I am missing her, but know she is having fun singing with the angels! My baby boy will be 5 on the 17th!!! I can't believe it! He is so excited about his birthday and Christmas being so close together. If anyone would like a Christmas scrapbook page let me know. Under Construction

Under Construction Well, we are finally here and still unpacking boxes! We were officially here the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Family came in the next week, which was absolutely wonderfull! Catching up with the cousins, aunts and uncles is always great times. I will be more than GLAD! to make homemade Christmas cards for anyone who wants them.

Sorry everyone! We just bought a house and have been working on it. We are moving just south of Mound City about 5 miles. We are so excited! Howdy all! Well it is that time of year to start thinking about Christmas! I am going to be doing Christmas cards for anyone who wants them. You provide the stamps and what ever you want to go in the inside ie.. pictures or a short letter, and I will do the rest. Make, seal, address, and send! That's right! or I will make them and send them back to you. They will be made in bundles of 20 cards/envelopes for $30. Hey all there, I am currently underway with an awesome business! I am turning my hobby into a business; Scrapbooking by Ginny Scott is now official!!! Here is a sample that I have put together. My prices are very reasonable, having researched more than half a dozen states.

Vendors that I am going to be working with are the 7gypsies, TLC, Creative Memories, and a few others. There will be a variety of designs available for public display at this blog and from my own scrapbooks. The size that I like the best is the 12x12 album. It seems to be able to fit pictures, journaling, stickers, and other accessories very nicely. Pricing is the same: (per page is always front and back)&(always minimum of 15 pages)

12x12 $22/page

8x10 $18/page

8x8 $14/page

These prices include the album, pages, embellishments, stickers, accessories, and professional placement of photographs into the album. Most albums will take 7-10 days to complete. Before any work on the photographs begin if they are not on a CD, I will place them on a CD for archival purposes. In the future you may want a copy of a particular photo that is already in an album. This is a way to print copies of the photos in the future. I am so excited about scrapbooking for all your needs!
